Meijer Gardens

Last week we took Andrew to Meijer gardens to play. Their tropical area is so warm and humid you can almost pretend you are outside in the springtime! Andrew loved running around and looking at the plants and water. Any open area where he can run is a good time! Andrew plays peekaboo with Dada through the trees.

Andrew wants to be just like Dada. He takes his mug to the table and climbs up on the chair so he can drink his coffee and read the newspaper.

The New Year

Things have been pretty quiet around here except Andrew has a bad cold so we're not getting enough sleep. Hopefully he'll feel better in a few days! Andrew loves reading books, building towers and knocking them down and playing with his cars and trucks. Andrew was so excited to have three sippy cups!

Andrew loves the kitties as much as ever! Georgia tolerates him pretty well. Georgia notices Andrew's hair has an interesting smell. Probably dried milk.

Friends and Family

Quinn came over for a playdate this week. Andrew was so happy to see him! He didn't want to stop touching Quinn. Quinn wasn't quite as enthusiastic about Andrew.
We enjoyed hanging out on the porch one warm day this week!

Fall Fun

Andrew loves playing in the leaves outside! He tosses them into the air and flicks the leaves around using a stick. He doesn't like being tossed into a pile of leaves, though. He has been so much fun lately and has been sleeping and eating really well, although he does like to eat pretty much the same thing every day. He has two new words: "guh" for Grandma and "puh" for peekaboo. Andrew in a big leaf pile.
