September Happenings

Opa and Oma came over to dig a hole for the tree they got Dave for his birthday. Andrew was more than happy to help! He made the sign for "more" every time Opa stopped digging. What a slave driver! He also helped Opa by throwing dirt in and out of the hole and into the wheelbarrow. This way, Oma!
This hole isn't deep enough, Opa!

Andrew's first hair cut.

Andrew got his first haircut this week! We just took off a little bit to neaten things up so he still has a little bit of curls in the back. Andrew and I are keeping busy going to babytime at the library, playdates and hanging out with Opa and Oma and going to Grandma's cottage. Andrew loves going outside to walk up and down the driveway and play basketball. Unfortunately he hasn't been sleeping as well lately but we're hoping its just a phase. I don't think he will ever be a good sleeper though!
Andrew was a little nervous about his first haircut.

Camping

Last week we took Andrew camping for the first time. It was so much fun! He loved being outside all the time and going for walks and swimming. Andrew has been sleeping pretty well lately and is just so enjoyable. He can say a few words and his current favorite is "dada". Andrew has had some pretty impressive tantrums and is doing some "limit testing". Just a typical active toddler! Andrew and Dada swinging at the campground.

Reading books with Mama. Andrew's favorite camping activity was wandering around the campground but he also liked sitting on a blanket and reading books or playing with toys. We got to go swimming one day that was warm and he had tons of fun splashing in the water and destroying Mama's sand castle.

Eating breakfast. Andrew thought it was pretty cool to eat outside. He liked sitting at the picnic table too.
