We were so happy to have Andrew baptized today surrounded by friends and family! It means so much to us to acknowledge that he is a part of God's family.

Test Results
Drew's doctor called yesterday to let us know that the results of his VCUG were in. The VCUG is basically a picture of his renal system to see if there are any abnormalities. The test showed that a small amount of urine is refluxing back into the ureter close to where it meets the bladder. The doctor is referring him to a pediatric urologist but basically it is something that most kids outgrow by the time they are school age. Probably he will have to be on antibiotics to prevent a future urinary tract infection and then be tested yearly to see if the problem has resolved itself.
His colic seems to be getting a little worse but we are holding out hope that it will start getting better after six weeks which is what my baby books claim. He is starting to seem more interested in the world around him and loves looking at black and white pictures.

Well Child Check
Andrew had a three week Well Child Check yesterday! He is looking healthy and is up to 9 lbs and 7 oz. All that feeding is paying off! He's been having some more awake time during the day and will lay on his back and just take in the world around him. Other than that he's feeding all the time and getting a little better at sleeping at night.
